That is what you hear everywhere you turn to on the Internet. The so called experts (some call themselves "gurus") tell you that anyone with half a brain can make money online. Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to say you cannot make money online. Yes, you can. There is no question about that. My problem with the so called experts is that they do not tell people that it is not a walk in the park to make money online.

Why did I say that?

Simple. To make money online, there are certain things you need to put in place. You can't just go online and expect the dollars to pop out from your computer screen. Here two things you will be needing to succeed online.

Time

No matter what you decide to do online, you will be needing to put in some time. If you want to go into affiliate marketing for example, you will need to look for quality affiliate programs to join. If you want to participate in online surveys, you will need to spend time looking for survey sites that pay.

Money

Can you make good money online without spending money? Maybe. However, if you want to build a long lasting Internet business, you will be needing to spend some money. Money to join a survey program, money to buy a domain name, money to buy softwares that will help you and so on.

The Internet is not free contrary to what a lot of people say. You need to spend top dollars to make more dollars.
